You can pause your recurring donation and change the card associated with your payments online by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. In the meantime, you can still donate manually to your Cause Fund whenever you wish to, and your Cause Fund can still receive donations from your community. Just share out your link.
You can delete your Cause Fund by emailing email@example.com. Please note that if you delete your Cause Fund, your Cause Fund will no longer be able to receive donations from anyone. your Cause Fund will be ready and waiting for you.
What is the difference between dailyKARMA Cause Funds and Community Cause Funds? Are all the charities on dailyKARMA vetted?
All Cause Funds let you send one donation that is split amongst the accredited nonprofits that are in the fund. We have set up some dailyKARMA Cause Funds around certain themes that may resonate with you. Community Cause Funds are created by people like you. Any charity in any Cause Fund has been vetted by our standards listed below.
Any charity associated with a dailyKARMA Cause Fund meets the following minimum criteria:
– At least 70% of their budget is spent on programs & services they exist to provide
– 0-20% on administrative expense percentage
– Tax form 990 easily found for review
The minimum is $10 per charity in the fund. So if the Cause Fund has two charities, you can donate at least $20.
Yes! Go for it.
