We Put Giving First

DailyKarma is a tech startup that builds innovative tools for philanthropy. Since 2015, our team of technologists, nonprofit leaders, and entrepreneurs have been creating tools that make giving easy.

Giving back is part of being fully engaged in the world. This core belief inspires us daily to help brands & individuals take the hassle out of navigating the nonprofit space.

Female Led. Impact Driven.

Our Story: We Met Volunteering

Our leadership team first crossed paths while volunteering for Girls in tech, Los Angeles. Patty was running her own technology business while leading Girls In tech. Mel was an advertising executive who was looking to connect and mentor other women in tech.

The two became fast friends. After producing a whirlwind event, both came to find out they were pregnant at the same time, due 2 days apart. Navigating the changing landscape of careers & motherhood brought a new complexity to their lives. They both had an increasing desire to leverage their combined 30 years of tech and advertising work into an initiative that could drive positive change in the world. Flash forward 2 years, Patty and Mel embarked on a journey to drive impact daily through DailyKarma–as an example for their children and to deepen their commitments to the community as well.
