We are experts in giving – not law. We recommend that you talk to your tax professional or an attorney regarding any tax questions. Setting Up & Managing a Cause Fund
Cause Funds give you the power to donate to your favorite charities in one trackable donation. Each donation to a Cause Fund is split amongst the charities within the Cause Fund.
Yes, it is free to set up a Cause Fund on DailyKarma.com.
You can pause your recurring donation and change the card associated with your payments online by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. When you pause your recurring donation, it will remain on pause until you choose to reactivate it. In the meantime, you can still donate manually to your Cause Fund whenever you wish to, and your Cause Fund can still receive donations from your community. Just share out your link.
You can delete your Cause Fund by emailing email@example.com. Please note that if you delete your Cause Fund, your Cause Fund will no longer be able to receive donations from anyone. Your credit card/payment information will no longer be associated with your Cause Fund, and you will not be able to reactivate your deleted Cause Fund ever. You’ll still see the record of your deleted Cause Fund in your account so that you can access your receipts. Perhaps, instead of deleting your Cause Fund, you may wish to simply pause your recurring donations, and then if you ever decide to donate again, your Cause Fund will be ready and waiting for you.
The minimum donation is $10.
